Have you ever wondered why your prescription drugs cost so much? Well, one theory is that pharmaceutical companies pay an exhorbitant amount of money to have national meetings, such as this one that I attended in Nashville.
It was great to see Joan (my HR manager and more importantly my friend of 28 years) and to see little Ross Nicholas (the younger brother of two other close friends from New Jersey.)
One of the highlights of the trip was getting together with Gina and Joan. Both Gina and I had some significant problems with our manager which involved our HR manager, Joan. The problems were resolved when he was fired a month before this meeting. It was so cathartic to finally be vindicated.
My new manager, Mike Martin, is wonderful. In the picture above he is next to Julie, a sales rep from Iowa.
While on Nashville we got to go to the Grand Ol' Oprey. We saw a bunch of people I didn't know and then we saw Carrie Underwood perform 2 songs. Unfortunately she didn't perform her biggest hit.

Hayden and Stephen went to "Camp Froelich" to visit Aunt Kym and Uncle Mark in northern California. Hayden had a blast! He loved going hiking with Aunt Kym, Chinatown, the Golden Gate Bridge, the beach and San Francisco to ride the trolley. Stephen, on the other hand........let's just say that Kym and Mark were very patient.
